Kym Worthy was trying to get these untested kits tested and solved. However, she could not do it on her own. Money was needed to get all of the kits tested. Mariska stepped up.

The work that has been done is inspiring other prosecutors and police departments to solve rapes that were never solved. This is something amazing that people are doing. Mariska helped in a way she knew she could.
