Molly Mesnick Shocked By Producer Comment About Jenn & Sam
Jason and Molly Mesnick made an appearance on the recent episode of The Bachelorette filmed in Seattle, Washington, where they live. Molly said she was shocked by a comment about Jenn from the producers. Keep reading for all the details.
Why Jenn Tran Was Missing From Bachelor Nation Reunion At Jason & Molly’s
Bachelor Nation alums Jason and Molly Mesnick were part of the last Bachelorette episode. The couple met on Season 13 of The Bachelor. The season ended quite controversially when Jason dumped his final rose winner and fiance, Melissa Rycroft, for his runner-up, Molly Malaney.
Jason and Molly’s relationship has stood the test of time, despite an unconventional beginning. They married in 2010.
They returned to the franchise to take part in Jenn Tran’s episode set in Seattle, Washington. Jenn and some of her men had a group date at the old radio station Molly used to work at. Jenn’s suitors were asked difficult questions from listeners.
Molly shared a photo on social media of a group of Bachelor Nation stars hanging out at her and Jason’s home. But Jenn Tran was missing from the photo. Why? She was likely too busy filming for The Bachelorette.
In fact, Molly said that producers warned her another suitor was “more of the villain that people were getting in fights with.” She declined to name which one she was warned about.
Molly Mesnick Reveals What Viewers Didn’t See Between Jenn & Sam
Jason and Molly were guests on Almost Famous podcast the day after the episode aired. They spilled some major tea about what happened during filming versus what aired on television.
Molly revealed that Jenn Tran was actually a lot more into Sam McKinney than viewers have seen so far in this season. In fact, she said producers told her Jenn was “obsessed” with Sam. This is surprising, especially considering that she sent him home after the group date.
Sam M. has been vocally unhappy on social media with the way he’s been portrayed on Season 21. Molly Mesnick admitted that editing is a “tricky, funny thing.” However, according to her, the show edited it to downplay Jenn’s feeling for Sam, not to make him look bad as he claims.
What Else Did Producers Edit Out?
Sam McKinney has come under fire from fans for telling Jenn Tran that he joined the show thinking Maria Georgas or Daisy Kent would be the lead. However, Molly Mesnick claimed on the podcast that Sam actually said worse things, but the show edited them out.
She said that neither she or Jason are allowed to publicly talk about what Sam said.
Does it surprise you that she was told that Jenn was really into Sam M.? Sound off in the comments.
