For a workaholic like Gwen Stefani, it would take an injury or an illness to keep her from taking the stage. Unfortunately, for fans hoping to see her in Atlantic City, that is exactly the case. Gwen told her followers that she is dealing with an “injury” that will impact her upcoming show.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Gwen Stefani had a message for her millions of followers. She said: “As a result of a recent injury and in consultation with my doctors, I’ve been advised that I am not able to perform on August 17 at Hard Rock Live at Estess Arena in Atlantic City.”
The singer and The Voice alum continued, saying: “I’m so sorry and we are planning to reschedule the show as soon as possible. Ticketmaster will email ticket holders as soon as the new show is announced. Current tickets will be valid for the new date.”
Gwen Stefani Fans Wish Her Well
Based on her recent update, Gwen Stefani did not go into any specifics surrounding her injury. Clearly, it was severe enough to keep her off the stage for the time being. Luckily, the show will happen at a later date.
