‘Mama June’ Fans Worried For Pumpkin & Josh’s Efird’s Kids
Mama June fans are worried for Pumpkin and Josh Efird’s four children but what is the reason? The couple is currently in the middle of a divorce which was completely unexpected. Yet, they agreed to part mutually and want to co-parent amicably. So, why are fans worried about Ella, Bentley, Stella, and Sylus? Keep reading for more details.
Mama June Fans Worried For Pumpkin & Josh’s Efird’s Kids
When Pumpkin and Josh Efird got together, she was only fifteen years old. Little did she know that she would have her daughter, Ella by the time she was seventeen and be married at eighteen. She then welcomed her son, Bentley in 2021 and the following year, she had twins, Stella and Sylus. It was a full house as she had been raising her little sister, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson since 2019. Somehow, Pumpkin and Josh were able to make it work and they also had some help from her sister, Jessica Shannon. Eventually, life took a turn when Pumpkin’s eldest sister, Anna Cardwell passed away in December 2023.
On August 1st, Pumpkin filed for divorce but she and Josh have seemingly moved on with new partners. Pumpkin just released a statement about her status with Josh and would no longer be talking about this. Yet, fans of Mama June: Family Crisis have major concerns, not for the couple but for the children. A Reddit thread was started and the OP wrote this:
- I hope they don’t air the divorce/separation on the show. Faked or not their kids do not need their family being drastically changed (for better or for worse) video taped for them to come across and relive whatever emotions they are going to have to navigate so young.
What did other followers have to say?
- Of course they will! They need that paycheck – They don’t work!
- If Anna’s final moment wasn’t off limits why wouldn’t Pumpkin divorce be?
- Nothing is off limits for that family. No one thinks of the kids.
- If they aired a death, they will air a divorce
Facing Facts
The truth is Mama June: Family Crisis had a whole season revolving around Anna Cardwell passing away. It was even split into two parts and went down to her very last moments. So, if that could happen for ratings then why would a divorce be exempt? Additionally, they have shown Mama June in her addiction and Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson going through her custody issues. Children and their feelings are not off-limits and Pumpkin has been called out for her treatment of her kids in the past. Even Josh Efird was slammed for yelling at Anna’s daughter, Kaitlyn.
