Shekinah also had a public interview last month, during which she confirmed that they’re now living in Istanbul. She even expressed her frustration with the traffic. However, the TLC star surprised many by defending her partner from the critics. According to Shekinah, people should judge Sarper based on the women he has dated before. She also thinks that it’s basically “slut-shaming.”

Shekinah Shares TLC’s Rules About Appearance

Shekinah recently had an IG Stories Q&A in which she opened up about TLC’s rules about appearance. According to the 90 Day Fiance star, she’s only allowed to use makeup for interviews. She added that once they started filming, the production didn’t allow them to make drastic changes to themselves until they finished the season. “That’s why I waited until we finished filming to cut my hair off,” she added.

Shekinah Garner’s decision to cut her hair also came from her fiance. “I mean, he told me I should cut my hair to look more flattering with my face,” she confessed, adding that he also does her makeup sometimes.

Shekinah Garner also participated in another interview, addressing the rumors that she’s a “sugar mommy.” According to the 90 Day Fiance star, she never spends anything when she’s in Turkey with Sarper, adding that she was able to save so much because of her man. “He’s never coming to the U.S. to be with me, and I thought he needs to always pay for my flights. He said, ‘I will do that.’ And so he always has,” she said.
