‘The View’ Whoopi Goldberg Livid Over New Studio Arrangements
The View just moved to an upgraded new studio but moderator, Whoopi Goldberg is already livid over the new arrangements. She was photographed saying goodbye to the old studio as the ladies prepared for Season 28. So, what is so subpar that Whoopi is unhappy? Keep reading for more details.
The View Whoopi Goldberg Livid Over New Studio Arrangements
Whoopi Goldberg has never been silent about things that distress her. In fact, it has been a blessing and a curse during her time at The View. She will get up and walk out if she is not happy with the conversation or simply do her own thing with no regard for the ladies on the panel. That being said, some viewers feel the show has run its course. Yet, it is returning for Season 28 this fall and Whoopi will be back in her usual seat. However, with a new studio comes new dressing rooms and these are not satisfactory for Whoopi.
According to The Sun, the Sister Act 3 star is unhappy with her setup in the new studio due to the fact it is not only small but has no bathroom. An insider shared that Whoopi’s main issue is that her old accommodations were the best of the best:
“Whoopi had the biggest dressing room with an ensuite including a shower and full bathroom. She had a large table in her room, so she would hold the morning meetings and all the ladies would have to go to Whoopi’s in the morning.”
Aside from Whoopi, Joy Behar, who has been with the show since its inception, also had a bathroom. However, nobody’s dressing room could touch what Whoopi allegedly had. Ultimately, The View moderator has opted to take things into her own hands. She will not settle for what she has been given so she is moving her production office from uptown to downtown:
“She’s moving her production office, which is currently near the ABC uptown studios, right next door to the new ABC studios downtown. Whoopi is that determined to use her own dressing room at her production studios, rather than use the paltry ABC accommodations.”
This might be a wakeup call for ABC to accommodate the ladies better given that they have moved and are now entering Season 28. That is no easy feat for any show and with Whoopi having been there since 2007, she should not have to downgrade dressing rooms.

Are Fans Ready?
While Whoopi Goldberg is sorting out her dressing room situation, are fans ready for a new season of The View and the unveiling of the new studio? The ladies shared a video of themselves autographing their old logo sign and not everyone was thrilled that they’d be back again:
- I just see sea hags perpetuating hate division bigotry and racism
- The show is being renamed… The One sided View
- Garbage show.
