‘MAFS’ Kate Sisk Calls Out Troll Profiting From ‘Trauma’ With Luke?
Married at First Sight cast member Kate Sisk went through one of the worst MAFS experiences with one of the biggest villains to ever appear on the show, Luke Cuccurullo. Recently, Kate called out someone who she claims is profiting off of her “trauma.” So, what’s the latest on this situation?
Married At First Sight: Kate Sisk Storyline With Luke Cuccurullo Was A Complete Disaster
When you think of bad marriages in the Married at First Sight universe, one of the worst to ever happen was Kate Sisk and Luke Cuccurullo in Philadelphia in Season 8. Luke said the infamous “dead inside” line, as well as saying that he was not attracted to his new wife.
Kate Sisk seemed to genuinely want to find her forever partner when she signed up for Married at First Sight, but, that clearly was not in the cards for her, as she went through her fair share of trauma, all while viewers watched her marriage implode week after week.
MAFS Celeb Calls Out Troll For Profiting From Her Misery?
Recently, Married at First Sight Kate Sisk called out another Kate Sisk for allegedly profiting off of her “trauma.” This other Kate Sisk is a comedian who also does drag, and the drag persona goes by the name “Luke A**.”
The way MAFS Kate Sisk sees it, this comedian is profiting off of using her story with Luke Cuccurullo to make extra bucks and further her brand.
In a lengthy post on social media, Kate said: “My name is Kate Sisk. I was married to Luke on Married at First Sight in 2018-2019. It was an abusive, traumatizing experience and we divorced. The show has over 1 million viewers per episode.”
Kate went on to add: “In 2021, a comedian named Kate Sisk created a character named “Luke” to capitalize off the hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of people searching for “Kate Sisk and Luke.”

Married at First Sight: Kate Encouraged Her Followers Not To Harass Comedian
Even though it appears that this comedian seems to be profiting off of using Kate Sisk’s Married at First Sight recognition, either monetarily, for brand exposure purposes, or both, Kate encouraged her followers not to harass this person.
In her recent update, Kate Sisk went on to add: “I didn’t want to post anything… but Kate has posted on multiple platforms calling me transphobic and narcissistic, inciting harassment. I had to share my side of the story. Please do not harass her back.”

The comedian in question even shared a clip on social media denouncing MAFS Kate Sisk’s claims. So, no matter which angle you look at this from, it’s a messy pile of drama, exactly the kind of thing that fans of the Lifetime show would want to grab the popcorn for.
However, no matter which side one believes, there’s no denying that Kate Sisk went through the wringer during her time with Luke, and situations like this certainly dig up the past unnecessarily. Understandably, many Married at First Sight followers and cast members feel for Kate and everything she has been dealing with regarding this situation.
