‘My 600-Lb Life’ Dr. Now Reveals How Scammers Used Him
My 600-lb Life cast member Dr. Younan Nowzaradan recently took to social media to set the record straight on what he called a lot of “fake news” going around. Specifically, he talked about how scammers used him. So, what did the good doctor have to say about this messy situation?
My 600-Lb Life: Dr. Younan Nowzaradan Has Always Been A Straight Shooter
Veteran My 600-lb Life viewers watch the TLC show as much for Dr. Younan Nowzaradan as they do for the individual stories from the patients who need his help. Dr. Now has always been a straight shooter from day one, and that is one of the many things that viewers love about him.
Dr. Now is never the type to sugar-coat anything. In fact, he does the complete opposite. Even when it’s something that his patients don’t want to hear, he never backs down from giving people the harsh truth, along with some hard-to-swallow pills for good measure.
TLC Doc Warns Followers Of Scammers
With Dr. Younan Nowzaradan being as successful as he is, his likeness alone is enough to make big bucks, especially for scammers out there looking to dupe potential customers with the latest miracle product for weight loss or something else related to diet.
Dr. Now recently took to social media to bring attention to these types of scams, as he encouraged his many followers not to fall for these nefarious people who, ultimately, want to dupe them and steal money from them if they are not careful.
Dr. Now called out a recent example of “false advertising,” using his name and picture. This recent example was brought to his attention by some of his patients. He went on to tell his many followers: “Don’t fall for this.”
He even said that he gets calls from people all the time asking about his “coffee weight-loss product,” something he has absolutely no hand in. Dr. Now reiterated that the only “product” he has out on the market is his book, everything else is “false advertising” and “fake news.”
