Recently, Sally Jessy Raphael has been facing a battle no 89-year-old wants to deal with. While she built a life of fame during the 90s, she is now fighting for her identity. As the host of Sally from 1983 to 2002, she was easily recognized in interviews and movies for many years to follow. Undeniably, she was addressing hard-hitting topics on TV before even the legend Oprah Winfrey took center stage. Bullying, abuse, religion, and even stolen identities weren’t off limits. But now, Sally is facing her own predicament.

Although the brave host faced many tough discussions along her journey, now Sally Jessy Raphael is having to try and prove who she is to social media. Photos have emerged that show she is looking very different in recent years from her classic red glasses and short hair in the ‘90s. While she has supplied ample proof, Meta isn’t sure she is telling the truth about her identity. Sadly, Facebook and Instagram are refusing to verify her. Likewise, other people are being allowed to pretend to be her on the very same platforms. Wanting to tackle the Internet giants at hand, she is crying out for assistance to obtain the verifiable “blue tick” on her account showing her authenticity.
Sally Jessy Raphael’s Cry For Help
While the sassy talk show host is facing a trial right now, Sally Jessy Raphael isn’t giving up. She is pleading to resolve the issue of getting her account cleared. On Instagram, she posts, “So, Instagram doesn’t want to give me my blue check – no matter what proof I send them. AND there’s a fake account called ‘realsallyjr’, and that’s NOT ME!”
Furthermore, she adds, “Help me let Instagram know, so we can fix this.” Sadly, since opening the account in April, she has only gotten a little more than 600 followers. She has shown pictures from her past favorite moments and added more recent events as well. She even paid respects to Richard Simmons‘ passing recently. Although she has always had red reading glasses, Sally later dyed her hair to match her bold statement. Even now, she continues to show off her bright look.
