‘General Hospital’ Fans Devastated After Heartbreaking Cliffhanger
General Hospital sent fans reeling after Thursday’s episode. The soap opera has had a lot of casting shakeups recently, but viewers did not see this one coming. Thursday’s cliffhanger left the future of one of the soap’s main characters up in the air. Now, fans are reacting to the tragedy online.
What Is Happening With Kristina Davis On GH?
GH fans expressed their heartbreak on social media following Thursday’s episode. Then a sneak peek of Friday’s episode brought some viewers to tears after they showed a fan-favorite character with serious injuries.
During Thursday’s episode of General Hospital, Kristina Davis (portrayed by Kate Mansi) was butting heads with Ava Jerome (Maura West). Kristina is pregnant, so the altercation was already worrisome for viewers.
Kristina informed Ava that she would testify against her in the upcoming custody trial. As Ava reached out to grab onto Kristina’s arm, Kristina took a step back. This turned out to be a potentially fatal move. Kristina fell over a duffle bag on the floor and flew out of a window, landing in the Metro Court’s pool.
The General Hospital episode came to an end with Kristina lying unconscious in the pool. There were several visible cuts on her face and onlookers were horrified at what happened.
General Hospital Fans Heartbroken Over Thursday’s Ending
Leaving the show on a cliffhanger, many fans were wondering about Kristina’s future on the show. Of course, viewers are concerned about the fate of the baby as well. She is carrying her sister’s baby as a surrogate.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) rushes in to rescue Kristina from the pool, but things don’t look great when the episode comes to a close. Her face was cut up, her arms were limp, and she wasn’t responding to Josslyn.
It’s not often that General Hospital viewers are thrown for a loop. In fact, many people have been complaining that the soap has become rather predictable recently. However, no one saw this cliffhanger coming.
“Completely blindsided by that ending!!!!!! I for one screamed noooooooooooooo,” one GH fan wrote on Instagram. “OMG I was screaming at my TV,” commented another. Several others reiterated that they didn’t see that ending coming at all.
More fans took a moment to predict what may happen with Kristina on the show. Most people assume she will either die or lose the baby, but others are holding out hope. “I’m in tears. I hope Kristina and the baby are ok,” one fan begged.
Fans will be able to see how everything plays out on today’s episode of General Hospital. With it being a Friday, it is likely the writers will keep everyone hanging a little bit though.

I think they will both survive, but Kristina won’t be able to have another child, so so will definitely need to hold onto the one she just carried.
just start watching General Hospital and they are more interesting then, Bold and the Beautiful and Young and the Restless. Getting tired of Hope and Steffy and the rest of Logans. they need something else!!!! But what???? And Young and the Restless,where I’m tired them messing with Kyle and Clare. I’m going start watching more of General Hospital and stop watching Bold and Beautiful and Young and Restless for awhile!!!!!.They both need better stories line’s!!!!!!!!
