Caitlyn Jenner Shows Up For Granddaughter After Son’s Insult
Although Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, Caitlyn Jenner’s son said some insulting statements about her parenting, she still shows up for her granddaughter. While some dirt has been thrown by the family, Caitlyn wants to be available for her kids and grandkids.

I Am Cait star, Caitlyn Jenner’s past has been a bit rocky. Since she has gone through her life transition, she has faced many challenges. Undeniably, Caitlyn’s family members have all had their journey to go through as well after Caitlyn went public with her change. Although it was difficult, the family seemed to accept the new side of Caitlyn. But even with some painful words, Caitlyn is still showing up for her family.

Although the path hasn’t been easy, Caitlyn Jenner is determined to show her family she cares. On Monday, July 29, Caitlyn attended a spectacular backyard birthday for her granddaughter’s first birthday. Caitlyn’s son, Brody Jenner, has made it clear he intends to do better than his dad, then Bruce Jenner, did during his growing up. Even with the public insult, Caitlyn is making an effort to do better with her grandkids. In several pictures on Instagram, Caitlyn is present and enjoying the celebration of Brody’s daughter, Honey. On Tuesday, Brody’s fiance, Tia Blanco, shared multiple sweet photos of the gathering. Additionally, not only was Caitlyn in attendance, but also her ex-wife, Linda Thompson.
Birthday Fun!
Within the photos, it appears the family put any qualms they had aside. Caitlyn Jenner and Linda Thompson both join in for the birthday fun with the family. Likewise, Tia Blanco states, “We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and extended family, in-laws, and no outlaws!” Everything was themed with little Honey’s face. From Brody’s Hawaiian shirt to the cupcake toppers, it was all about Honey.
On Instagram, Tia says, “Happy Birthday to my favorite girl in the world! They say when you have a baby it’s like watching your heart beat outside of your body… and that’s exactly how it feels! Best year of my life being your mama, Honey Raye! Thank you for all the love, joy & happiness you have brought to me! The sweetest heart, purest soul, spunkiest personality & happiest little spirit! Mama loves you! Happy 1st birthday! 🎂.”
Brody Jenner Wants To Do The Exact Opposite Of Caitlyn In Parenting
Just a year earlier when Brody Jenner was documenting the birth of little Honey, he didn’t mince words about his growing up. He mentions Caitlyn Jenner and sends a clear message he doesn’t want to parent like his dad did, then Bruce Jenner. Saying, “I think that what I’m most excited about is doing things differently than my father did.” Admittedly, Brody’s relationship with Caitlyn was strained, “Growing up I didn’t have the greatest relationship with [Caitlyn].” Furthermore, he adds, “[She] wasn’t really around for me growing up.” Then, Brody continued, “So I think [about] just doing the exact opposite [and] being the absolute best father I could possibly be.” But even with the diss, Brody is giving Caitlyn the chance to show up for her granddaughter, Honey. Maybe Caitlyn’s second chance at showing up will also heal her and Brody’s relationship as well.
