‘Bachelorette’ Sam Nejad Explains Relationship With Devin Strader
Bachelorette contestant, Sam Nejad, has explained his relationship with Devin Strader after he stood up for him. Fans were shocked to see what Sam N said during the “Thunder Down Under” group date. However, Devin had his back and now he is speaking out about it. Fans have mixed emotions about Sam N and how he behaves. Keep reading to find out more about this.
“Thunder Down Under” Group Date
Jenn Tran had the guys go on an interesting group date. They were doing a “Thunder Down Under” themed show. This is where they had to do their best strip tease for Jenn and the audience. A lot of the guys had to step out of their comfort zones. While there were others who were more confident, like Sam M. However, Sam N was not comfortable with this. So, instead of stripping, he told Jenn that he was falling in love with her. This resulted in a lot of the guys making fun of him and saying he does not understand what love is.
Sam Nejad Speaks On Friendship
Devin Strader stood up for Sam Nejad in the situation. This is how Sam felt about it.
“In that moment, I really respected him. It was a moment where I couldn’t speak for myself and he spoke up for me, and that shows a lot about his character, I got in my head. They were judging me immediately… I knew they were making fun of me. I don’t want to pinpoint or call anybody out because everyone is entitled to how they feel, but I wanted to address it, like, ‘If you have something to say, let’s say it right here and right now.’ Devin and I had a bromance, right? Devin and I kicked it off pretty well just because it’s like The Hunger Games in there. There were different districts — one district with a lot of people and many districts. And Devin and I were, like, our own little district, we were both here for the same reason, but we both were handling it in our own ways. And I respected Devin. It’s just him.”
The two of them seemed to grow close during their journey with Jenn Tran.
It seems as though Sam is grateful for Devin. According to him, the two of them hit it off. Fans heard Devin say he felt like Sam N was a little brother to him and he took him under his wing.
