‘Bachelorette’ Fans Call Out Sam M. For His Problematic Behavior
Bachelorette contestant Sam McKinney made a huge first impression on Jenn Tran on his first night in the rodent-infested temporary Bachelor mansion. The suitor earned Jenn Tran’s first impression rose, followed by a hot and heavy makeout sessions. But the front-runner hasn’t made a good impression on viewers. He Was Allegedly In A Relationship Right Before Show
It seems every season of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, a contestant has a significant other waiting for them back home. One woman claimed on social media that she was dating Sam McKinney up until he left to film the ABC dating show.
According to Distractify, the two attended a wedding together in person before reverting to a long-distance relationship because they lived in separate states. The ex claimed that Sam M. began to slowly ghost her by texting less and less before finally coming clean about being on the Bachelorette.
Bachelorette Fans Not Impressed By Sam McKinney’s Problematic Behavior
Viewers were open-minded about Sam McKinney at first. But as the season continues, they find some of his behavior problematic. One Bachelor Nation fan took to Twitter to share how uncomfortable his “sexual and aggressive” behavior makes them.
A Reddit thread dedicated to his cringiest moments compares him to Kaitlyn Bristowe’s ex-fiance, Shawn Booth. Another Redditor said Sam McKinney gives off Luke Parker vibes. If you don’t remember, Luke Parker refused to leave Hannah Brown’s season and she famously picked up the podium and moved it away from him in the middle of a rose ceremony.

Could He Be The Next Bachelor?
If ABC follows recent tradition, the next Bachelor will be one of Jenn Tran’s rejected suitors. The network announced in May that the flagship show was renewed for Season 29. The show will air in early 2025, which means filming should start in the next few months, possibly as soon as Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette season is done airing.
Some Bachelor Nation fans think that Aaron Erb got the Bachelor edit with his self-elimination in Episode 3. Sam McKinney is still one of Jenn Tran’s suitors, but who knows for how long. If he doesn’t end up with her, could he be the next Bachelor?

Maybe, but some viewers think he’s angling for a spot on Season 10 of Bachelor In Paradise. The beachy spinoff returns some time next year.
