A recent survey on Celebrity Family Feud sent fans reeling. The survey asked for the top 8 greatest rappers of all time. Neither the contestants nor the viewers at home could believe who was on the list. Fans began to question who was polled.

Who Is The Greatest Rapper Of All Time?

Meghan Trainor and Tori Kelly went head-to-head during the July 16 episode of Celebrity Family Feud. Their teams were tasked with answering a number of survey questions and whatever they won would go to charity.

One survey question left everyone stumped, including host Steve Harvey. Fans at home thought the survey results were absolutely ridiculous.

The question was, “Who is the greatest rapper of all time?” Meghan’s husband Daryl Sabara, and Tori’s husband Andre Murillo, both stood at the podium ready to answer. However, everyone was shocked when neither of their answers was on the board.

They guessed that J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar would be among the top 8 rappers of all time. Neither of the artists appeared on the list though.

As the players continued to come up with answers to the survey question, even Steve Harvey began to question things when Lil Wayne didn’t come up on the board. “Okay, y’all tripping now,” he said.

Team Tori made the first correct prediction when Kayla Bannon guessed Tupac Shakur would make the list. He was the second answer on the board.

Eventually, the rest of the list was unveiled. Snoop Dogg took the number one spot. Jay Z was number eight. Other names on the list included 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Eminem, LL Cool J, and The Notorious BIG.

The list of the greatest rappers of all time caused quite a stir. Celebrity Family Feud host Steve Harvey questioned why Jay Z wasn’t in the top spot. “We in Rhode Island again? Where we at?” he asked.

Tori Kelly guessed Nas, which wasn’t on the board and Steve suggested she might not be thinking like the people who answered the survey. “I think you’re thinking as a hip-hop head. I don’t think that’s who answered these questions,” the host said.

Overall, viewers seemed to agree with Steve Harvey. One person commented on the clip on YouTube, calling it “the most criminal thing I’ve ever seen.”

“It’s [sic] like they surveyed 100 people who have never listened to rap music and asked them to name the most famous rapper they know of,” another person commented.

A third viewer wrote, “It’s like they surveyed 100 people who have never listened to rap music and asked them to name the most famous rapper they know of.” Another person questioned, “Jay Z number 8, Snoop above Eminem,… which humans on this planet was this survey conducted?”

Several other people wondered why other big rap names weren’t included in the list, such as Busta Rhymes and Ice Cube.
