‘Young & Restless’ Joshua Morrow Hints At Nick & Sharon Reunion
The romance between Sharon (portrayed by Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) on Young & Restless has been tumultuous over the years. Their on-again, off-again relationship has been a key part of the soap opera at times. However, it’s been a while since viewers last saw them together. Could ‘Shick’ Be Making A Return To Young & Restless?
Sharon and Nick, otherwise referred to as “Shick” by fans, could be reunited soon. The beloved Young & Restless couple hasn’t been seen together in some time, but Joshua Morrow says that “Shick” could make a comeback at some point.
Joshua told Michael Fairman TV that the couple could rekindle their flame, but he doesn’t see them being together forever. He said, “I don’t see them just being together forever, always happy and perfect. I just don’t. They’ve got problems. Yes, they’re each other’s first love. They’re each other’s true love.”
The high-school sweethearts met each other when they were kids. “So, you have all these life experiences that happen,” the Young & Restless star said. “You have all the things they did to each other that affect who they are as people going forward.”
Joshua Morrow Thinks Nick & Sharon Will Reunite In The Future
That being said, Joshua Morrow stated that if Nick ended up with Sharon forever, it wouldn’t be terrible. “If that’s what you want, then do it,” he said. “But, I don’t know if that’s viable.”
He went on to say that Nick and Sharon will obviously end up back together at some point in the future. “I don’t know when it is, but it is definitely coming at some point,” Joshua stated. “How long that lasts, I don’t know.”
The Y&R star said that his one job on the show is to “show up on time and know my lines and be effective.” Everything else is up to the writers and what they decide to do with the storyline.
Viewers first saw “Shick” in 1994. The characters met in high school and soon fell in love. Of course, they faced a number of problems in their relationship. They were from very different families and Sharon had some issues with her ex-boyfriend. She was also dealing with a secret past that included a daughter she gave up for adoption. That didn’t stop them from tying the knot in 1996.
In true soap opera fashion, the couple didn’t stay together long. They’ve split up and gotten back together numerous times. Who knows? Fans might get to see it happen again soon.
