‘Jeopardy!’ Fans Do Not See Ken Jennings Winning Emmy Award
Jeopardy! fans do not see Ken Jennings winning an Emmy Award. He was nominated for the second time. However, fans do not think it is going to work out in his favor. There has been a lot of controversy on how Ken does as the host. However, some fans think he is a great host and hope he sticks around. Keep reading to find out why fans think he will not win.
How Is He Doing As A Host?
There have been mixed opinions on how Ken Jennings is doing as the host of Jeopardy! Some feel as though he is doing a great job. However, Ken was looking to Drew Carey to have his back. Ken knows that he has some struggles when it comes to hosting the show. He was not supposed to be the solo host of the game show. However, he has been doing a fine job at it and fans recognized that.
“Ken is an excellent host and steward of Jeopardy. He has kept the show interesting and running smoothly, which is impressive in normal circumstances. And I think this alone is worth of a nomination. But he has done this when confronted with a seemingly endless stream of turbulence — the hosting search, the Mike Richards fiasco, Mayim’s firing, the writer’s strike, the endless tournaments, etc.”
Why Fans Think Ken Jennings Will Not Win
Fans do not think Ken Jennings stands a chance at winning. Not because of his ability to host the show. It is due to Pat Sajak also being nominated. He announced his retirement this year and fans think he will win it as a goodbye.
- “I hope Ken wins, but I can see them giving it to Pat Sajak as a farewell thing,”
- “I hope I’m wrong but I’m not seeing a win for Ken this year,”
- “Normally, I would say he is a lock to win. But the fact that Pat Sajak has retired (kind of) after so many years at Wheel would suggest to me that the voters will want to honor his long career.”
It seems as though the award will go to Pat Sajak as a farewell. Fans understand why this will happen. However, they are upset because they fell like Ken deserves it and will not stand a chance. Pat Sajak has been a great host of the game show, Wheel Of Fortune. However, his retirement may give him the upper hand in winning the award. What do you think?
