Fans who have been with 1000-Lb Sisters since the beginning know that Tammy Slaton hasn’t had an easy time. During the show’s first season, she had an incredibly difficult time keeping up with her goals. When her sister Amy qualified for bariatric surgery and Tammy didn’t, the TLC star sank into a depression and engaged in terrible habits.
As time went on, Tammy’s unhealthy habits only worsened. Eventually, Dr. Eric Smith visited her at home and convinced her to enter rehab.
Thankfully, Tammy has been doing remarkably well after completing rehab. She qualified for bariatric surgery and is exploring the world with friends.
And now, she has a new profile photo to show off too.
Since the photo is a new Instagram profile photo, comments from fans weren’t readily available. However, Tammy Slaton’s fanbase loves seeing her succeed. It’s entirely likely the TLC received plenty of complimentary DMs on her new photo.
The Sky Is The Limit For The 1000-Lb Sisters Star
For many seasons, many 1000-Lb Sisters viewers weren’t sure that Tammy Slaton would meet the requirements to receive bariatric surgery. Now, she’s far past that and wants skin removal surgery next. That’s also a goal her brother Chris Combs shares. And as long as the siblings keep moving forward, it seems that TLC is more than happy to keep filming with them.
So far, TLC is keeping information about the upcoming season under wraps. The network hasn’t even confirmed that there will be a new season. But since 1000-Lb Sisters is one of TLC’s most successful programs, it stands to reason new episodes will be out later in the year. Fans can’t wait to see where the family goes next.
