Tributes are pouring in from a plethora of Shannen Doherty’s co-stars after news of her passing broke. She was just 53 when cancer took her life though she put up a valiant fight. So, after a career that she has worked tirelessly at since she was a child, who is sharing a heartfelt memory? Keep reading for more details.

Shannen Doherty Tributes Pour In From Former Co-Stars

No matter what was thrown her way over the last several years, Shannen Doherty kept on fighting. The Beverly Hills, 90210 star gave it her all as she was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. By 2017, she was in remission but sadly, in 2019, it was back. She did all that she could to not give up the fight and recently started a podcast called Let’s Be Clear. Shannen even reconnected with her 90210 co-star, Tori Spelling where they talked about the best and worst of times. Now, everyone who worked with her is in mourning and trying to find the words to express their sadness.

Shannen passed away on Saturday, July 13th, according to her publicist, Leslie Sloane:

“It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of actress Shannen Doherty. On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease. The devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend was surrounded by her loved ones as well as her dog, Bowie. The family asks for their privacy at this time so they can grieve in peace.”

Now, per TV Line, the tributes are pouring in, honoring Shannen, her work, and who she was as a person. Jason Priestley, who played Shannen’s twin brother, Brandon Walsh on BH9210, had this to say:

“Shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of my friend Shannen. She was a force of nature and I will miss her. Sending love and light to her family in this dark time.”

Carol Potter, who played Shannen and Jason’s mother on 90210, was just as shocked by the news:

“Shocked and saddened by news of Shannon Doherty’s death. What a journey she has been on! Gone too soon. Throughout, she stayed true to herself and gave us an example of courage and perseverance in facing her own death. May she rest in peace.”

Though Shannen Doherty had a rough relationship while starring on Charmed, her co-stars still sent condolences. Alyssa Milano had this to say:

“It’s no secret that Shannen and I had a complicated relationship, but at its core was someone I deeply respected and was in awe of. She was a talented actress, beloved by many, and the world is less without her. My condolences to all who loved her.”

However, Rose McGowan paid tribute to what a warrior Shannen was and referred to her as her “dear sister.”

Fans In Mourning

Of course, Shannen Doherty’s co-stars were not the only ones who were broken by her passing. She had fans of all ages who were so sad and shocked upon learning she lost the fight:

Some have said that she will meet up with Luke Perry who played her love interest, Dylan McKay on 90210. He passed away in 2019. Hopefully, he will give her the best welcome possible.
