Huge Clue Points To Abigail Deveraux Being Alive
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is on the hunt for his dead wife, Abigail Deveraux, last played by Marci Miller. The legacy character was brutally murdered in 2022. Clyde Weston (James Read) confessed to the murder and was thrown in jail. But he recently told Chad that Abigail is actually alive.
And he had footage to prove his claim. His tip led Chad and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) to a safe deposit box with a flash drive. The flash drive had footage of a mystery blonde woman pacing an empty room. The video never showed her face, but the actress in the scene was AnnaLynne McCord, who joined the show last month in a role that may or may not be Abigail Deveraux.
In an episode earlier this week, Abigail’s coffin was dug up, only to find she wasn’t in it. An empty coffin is a sure sign that the character is alive…. somewhere. It’s currently unclear if the Abigail who may be returning is the “real deal” or potentially an imposter or doppelganger.
According to Billy Flynn, the temporary writers created the speculation about Abigail’s fate during the 2023 writer’s strike.
Is Marci Miller Returning To Days Of Our Lives?
The daughter of Jack and Jennifer Deveraux (Matt Ashford and Melissa Reeves) is an essential character in Salem. Pretty Little Liars actress Ashley Benson played the character as a teenager. Kate Mansi took over the role from 2011 to 2016. After she left, Marci Miller played Abigail from 2016-2018.
Kate Mansi came back to DOOL in 2018 but left again two years later. Marci Miller returned to Days of Our Lives and played Abigail until the character died in 2022.
Many fans think that AnnaLynne McCord’s character, Marin, is actually Abigail Deveraux or pretending to be. If fans turn out to be wrong with their prediction and Abigail really is out there alive, who would play her? Kate Mansi currently stars as Kristina on General Hospital. If and when the Peacock soap brings Abigail back to Salem, there is a strong chance Marci Miller will reprise the role.
