Gypsy Rose Blanchard Ready To Meet ‘The Act’ Star Joey King
Gypsy Rose Blanchard is finally ready to meet Joey King who portrayed Gypsy in the Hulu limited series, The Act. It continued to raise awareness as to what Gypsy went through at the hands of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. So, when could this meeting possibly take place? Keep reading for more details.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Ready To Meet The Act Star Joey King
Joey King and Patricia Arquette gave phenomenal performances in Hulu’s limited series, The Act. Patricia portrayed Dee Dee Blanchard while Joey nailed the role of Gypsy Rose Blanchard. As the mother-daughter duo, they captivated audiences and continued to shed light on Munchausen by proxy. Both actors landed Emmy nominations with Patricia going home a winner. She also took home a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Dee Dee who was stabbed to death by Gypsy’s boyfriend, Nick Godejohn. The murder was orchestrated by Gypsy but she recruited Nick to carry it out.
He was sentenced to life in prison while Gypsy got a decade but served just 85% of her time. The Act came out while she was behind bars and, according to Women’s Health, Gypsy applauded Joey’s performance. She was also proud of her Emmy nomination but did not want to meet Joey. As for Joey, she did want to meet the person she had portrayed. Now that Gypsy has been out of prison for a little over four months, she is ready to meet Joey, according to TMZ. She just got to California and has a few things that she wants to do while out there.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard explained that she and Joey King messaged some. She would really like to meet her portrayer but it is unclear if that will happen on this trip. Hopefully, they can connect and talk about what it was like for Joey to play Gypsy. More so, Gypsy can give Joey additional insight into what her life was really like and what The Act may have missed. At least Gypsy is more open to a meeting than when the limited series first came out.
Life Is Good
Now that Gypsy Rose Blanchard is in California, she has reassured the paps that her life is good. She recently confirmed that she and her former fiance, Ken Urker reconnected and are giving things another go. However, he was not in attendance on this venture. At the same time, Gypsy seemed thrilled to be in California and see all of the sights. Hopefully, Joey King is around for a quick hello.
