Jennifer Garner Suffers Tragic Loss
For years, Jennifer Garner has been known as a tough chick in the acting world. She has had roles in Alias, Daredevil, and the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine. Additionally, she was considered the one who tamed Ben Affleck when the two tied the knot in 2005. He was her second husband but they went through a lot together and welcomed three children: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. The two were together for thirteen years and she has since moved on and is doing her own thing, living her own life. Unfortunately, she is now facing something extraordinarily devastating, unimaginable and tragic.
According to her Instagram account, Jennifer shared that her beloved father, William John Garner, passed away. He was 85 and it happened on Saturday, March 30th, 2024. She admitted that it was nothing dramatic in his passing but did share that they were all surrounding her dad. More so, they sang “Amazing Grace” and she made light of their singing possibly scaring him away. Additionally, Jennifer thanked those in the medical field who helped make her father’s life as long as it was. He leaves behind his wife of 59 years as well as Jennifer, her sisters, and his grandchildren.

Jennifer Garner shared a slide of her father along with her, her sisters, her mother, and William in solo snaps. He clearly loved his girls and was proud to have them by his side. Immediately, celebrity followers chimed in with well wishes:

The Love Goes On
Though Jennifer Garner’s heart is fully broken right now, she has so much support. Not just from the Hollywood community like Laura Wright and Mindy Kaling but from strangers who were so touched by her tribute. They loved what she wrote and could tell how much she appreciated what an amazing man, father, and grandfather he was. Through his family, William Garner’s legacy will never fade.
