Why isn’t On Patrol: Live airing new episodes this weekend as they rarely ever take a hiatus? Fans have come to depend on the hit series on Friday and Saturday nights. So, why are there reruns, and when will new episodes be back? Keep reading for more details.

Why Isn’t On Patrol: Live Airing New Episodes This Weekend?

Viewers do not care for repeat episodes of On Patrol: Live. They like all-new action on Friday and Saturday nights which is perfectly understandable. Around Labor Day 2023, the show took a two-week hiatus but did special episodes to try and make up for it. Now, it appears that this weekend will be reruns but what is going on with that? More so, when will the show be back with new and exciting on-the-scene episodes for diehard fans so they can be a part of the action?

The show will be off until April 5th and with good reason as they will be celebrating the Easter holiday. More so, they will be “Delivering The Goods…to children this weekend.” This was shared on their Facebook page:

Of course, this announcement made its way over to Reddit and fans had their thoughts on the show being away for a week.

Clearly, many were unhappy about the show being off, even for just one week. They had a lot to say about On Patrol: Live not being on:

• But these family holidays are perfect for Domestic Incident calls.
• I gotta be real. Paying like $30/mo and then sticks being on the show was the straw that broke the donkeys back.
• Damn. Lonely weekend. Guess I will get on YouTube.
• I’d love to land a gig where I got entire weeks off whenever a holiday comes around. Big fish productions must be an awesome place to work. Do whatever the hell you want & block entire weeks off whether it’s Halloween or Easter or Secretary’s Day.

What Will Air This Weekend?

Since new episodes of On Patrol: Live will not be airing this weekend, what will go in its place? The show has let viewers know that they have picked out their favorite repeat episodes for Friday and Saturday. So, fans can catch up on some of the best of the best OPL has to offer even if they have to wait a week. However, it is just a week and they will be back on April 5th so get ready.
