‘90 Day Fiance’ Fans Call Kobe Blaise A Liar, Why?
90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After just premiered its brand new season on TLC. The new episodes just started, and already, viewers think they caught Kobe Blaise in a lie. So, what happened with him that has fans thinking they caught him red-handed?
90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After Back For An All-New Season
The 90 Day Fiance train keeps rolling. TLC has a big winner on their hands, and they waste no time coming out with new seasons. Happily Ever After follows cast members who have stayed married, as watchers see a glimpse into their lives as a married couple.
This spinoff brings back 90 Day Fiance couples that viewers have already seen before. Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda just finished Season 10 of the main franchise, and the network wasted no time putting them on the Happily Ever After spinoff.
Kobe Blaise Returns With Emily Bieberly In New TLC Scenes
Kobe Blaise and Emily Bieberly are back in the new Happily Ever After episodes. Emily says in scenes that Kobe, her, and their children are living in their parents’ basement. They are “grateful” to have her parents there to help with the kids, however, there’s a catch to that. Because they aren’t living in their own place, they don’t have complete freedom to do what they want.
90 Day Fiance fans thought for sure that Emily Bieberly and Kobe Blaise would not stay together for the long haul. However, they surprised everyone with the fact that they are still going strong as a couple. Their living arrangement in current scenes may not be ideal, but, the situation could easily be worse as well.
90 Day Fiance Fans Catch Kobe In A Lie, What Happened?
Kobe says in Happily Ever After scenes that they are soon going to be taking a family trip back to Cameroon to see all of Kobe’s relatives. He says in scenes that it’s not common for a Cameroonian man to get with an American woman and leave the country. However, some 90 Day Fiance fans took issue with that.
Viewers pointed to one Western woman’s journey in Cameroon, where she received three marriage proposals from locals in a single day in the African country. Much in the same way that the Dominican Republic is known for local men looking to land American women and other women from the West, many viewers point out that it’s similar in Cameroon, despite what Kobe said in 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After scenes.
The entire 90 Day Fiance premise centers around the K1 visa process and coming to America. So, whether or not a foreigner is fishing for a green card is always a topic of conversation with each new pair. Luckily for Emily, Kobe is a genuine guy, and viewers love him.
Still, many 90 Day Fiance fans took issue with Kobe claiming that it isn’t common for his people to fish for green cards by offering marriage proposals to Western women, when there are clearly examples of people from his home country doing exactly that.
However, not everyone is quick to throw Kobe or his people under the bus. One 90 Day Fiance commenter wrote: “Kobe is correct. Western Africans generally will marry women from their own country or tribe. Marrying American or white women isn’t the norm.”
It will be interesting to see more of the family trip to Cameroon in upcoming 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After scenes as the new spinoff season continues.
