Sarah Herron Reveals If They Have Baby Names Chosen
Bachelor alum Sarah Herron is pregnant with twins after losing her son mid-pregnancy over a year ago. She and her husband Dylan Brown announced the news that she was expecting after their latest IVF transfer. She has shared a lot with fans about how she’s feeling in regard to being pregnant again after losing Oliver. She is cautiously optimistic at the moment. So, have they picked out any baby names yet?
Sarah Herron Shares If They Have Picked Baby Names
Sarah Herron and Dylan Brown are expecting twin baby girls after losing their son at 24 weeks over a year ago. So far things are progressing well in her pregnancy. She was traveling this week to New York so in her downtime she answered some fan questions.
One question asked is if they have names picked out for their two babies yet. Sarah shared that there is one name that Dylan loves but she is not deciding on anything right now. She said,
“But I am not decided on anything! I think trauma might be playing a part. I just can’t ‘see/hear’ anything and think to myself ‘That’s my baby’s name.’ It’s hard.”
Sarah shared earlier this year that this pregnancy is harder to talk about because of what she went through when she lost Oliver. She didn’t feel like sharing bump updates or symptoms she was having because of the past trauma.
As her pregnancy progresses she is getting more into it and letting herself be a little more excited.
Is She Getting An Amniocentesis?
Another fan asked her if she was going to get an amniocentesis for further testing. Sarah shared that they had an early anatomy scan last week and so far everything looks great. The babies are active and growing normally. They had the scan at 16 weeks and since things are looking good they opted out of the amniocentesis.
The doctors will just continue to monitor. She went on to say that the twins can still be born with mosaicism. According to reports online, mosaicism “occurs when a person has two or more genetically different sets of cells in his or her body. If those abnormal cells begin to outnumber the normal cells, it can lead to disease that can be traced from the cellular level to affected tissue, like skin, the brain, or other organs.”
Her babies were mosaic embryos so they have a chance to be born with it.
Sarah continues to be honest and open with fans about her pregnancy. Fans can’t wait to hear more about her two babies.
