Bachelor Joey Graziadei Reveals Emotions Were Really Hard To Watch Back
Joey Graziadei spoke with Decider to talk about his journey as The Bachelor. He talked about his emotions and how watching them back is more difficult than actually sharing those things while filming.
It happens to most leads and Joey is no exception, he will be so emotional at some points he’s brought to tears. He says he tried to be honest and transparent throughout his journey as The Bachelor. When Joey was asked how difficult it is to watch himself back having these insecurities he remains open and honest. He said, “I think it’s tougher to watch it back than it was to share it. I think anyone that knows me — be it my friends or my family — knows how open I am about my emotions, especially later on in life. I realize how much it’s therapy for me. I love confiding in my loved ones and talking about how I’m feeling. But when you do it with the camera and you watch it back it’s always a little different. As you said, I think I just tried to be honest and transparent.”
He also shared that anyone who knows him will say he’s his own biggest critic.
The Women Have Also Been Vulnerable
It was brought up to Joey Graziadei that the women were also vulnerable this season. There were talks of loss and grief, endometriosis, Lyme Disease, and cochlear implants.
He hopes that people will take away from their stories that they were all very brave to share these things. He thinks it is great that there are people at home who can relate and have had similar experiences. Joey thinks they are all special and loves that they used their platform to be brave enough to share things that have shaped them into who they are today.
