‘Bringing Up Bates’ How Many Planes Does Nathan Bates Own?
Bringing Up Bates star Nathan Bates is less active on social media compared to his siblings. However, he’s one of the most successful kids of Gil and Kelly Jo today. The 30-year-old recently made an appearance in Lawson’s vlog. But he caught the attention of many after giving his brother a tour of his workplace. Some Redditors also got curious about how many planes he owns. Keep reading to see Nathan’s job and why some think he owns multiple aircraft.
Bringing Up Bates: What Is Nathan Bates’ Job?
Nathan is currently working on earning his commercial pilot license. He received his private pilot’s license in April 2017. The Bringing Up Bates star is also an EMR and a reserved deputy sheriff with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department. The fifth Bates child has also been commended by many for focusing on his career behind cameras despite the popularity of his family. He presently has one child with Esther, though the two have already hinted at having a second child.
How Many Planes Does Nathan Own?
Some Redditors reacted to Nathan’s workplace tour during Lawson’s vlog. The Bringing Up Bates star walked his brother around the airport where he works. Moments later, he shared multiple aircraft and claimed that one of them was sold by his father-in-law’s company, in which he’s the director of maintenance operations. This made some curious if he owns multiple planes.
- “Does Nathan have one plane or a fleet? I ask because something caught my eye in Lawson and Tiffany’s latest video when Nathan was giving a tour of the airport he works out of. One of the planes he pointed out is sold and maintained in the U.S. by my FIL’s company. He doesn’t own the company but is the director for maintenance operations. It wasn’t the plane he was flying but I couldn’t tell if he owned any of the others he was pointing out. If I found out a Bates is one of his customers I would.”
- “My best friend’s husband is a corporate pilot. He owns two planes. They are expensive, but probably not as expensive as people tend to think. It’s very common to get a charter certificate and offset a lot of the costs of ownership that way.”
- “A 1977 Cessna is $30k and the cheapest helicopter on the site is a 1960 model that’s $55k. Anything newer or nicer is six figures. That’s pretty expensive to me.”
- “It would be interesting to know how the ownership of all the aircraft between the Bates and the Duggars breaks down. Some of them used to be under iblp ownership didn’t they?”
Bringing Up Bates: Nathan & Esther Bates’ Baby Number Two Accidentally Revealed?
Nathan and Esther Bates also made headlines after a comment from Jane Bates in one of their posts. According to the Bates grandmother, she’s happy for the married couple and their “new little one.” This comes after Esther hinted at the possibility that she and her husband may have a second child soon.
The Bringing Up Bates stars welcomed their first child, Kenna Joy, on October 17, 2022, at Willow Creek Women’s Hospital in Johnson, Arkansas. It’s been almost two years since the two welcomed a child, and many believe that they’re already due to have a second one.
