Lexi Young thanks fans for their support
Bachelor contestant Lexi Young was one of the lucky ladies to get a one-on-one date with Joey Graziadei. She knew this would be the perfect time to talk to him about her health struggles.
Lexi has talked about her struggles with endometriosis. For those who are unfamiliar with it, endometriosis is a disease in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus. The disease causes severe pain in the pelvis and makes it harder to get pregnant.
When she told Joey about her disease and that it could mean that she could not carry a child, he was very understanding. He assured her that it didn’t scare him at all.
Lexi went to Instagram to share her thoughts about last night’s episode. She started by saying that it was difficult to watch back after everything she had been through. However, it also allowed her to see how far she has come.
Lexi went on to say,
I knew that if I could help even one woman out there suffering from endometriosis or infertility, it would make me feel like in some small way that my pain and suffering was worth it. I want to thank each and every one of you for the outpouring of messages and support I have received. I cannot even put into words how much it means to me to get the opportunity to share my story on this platform.
