Fan Defends Travis Kelce

A fan is defending Travis Kelce in a now viral post. It is only three hours old and has already been shared over 32,000 times and has almost 5,000 likes. Here is what fan Lauren Murphy shared:

“A different perspective.
Admittedly I gasped a little when this was shown during the game. It felt out of line & caused an emotional response.
I also know that none of us watching have ever experienced playing a Super Bowl football game. We haven’t experienced that level of emotion during a sporting event. The intensity of communication in sports in general is different.
His coach, Andy, was interviewed after the game & laughed about it. Said Travis makes him feel young. He said Travis came over right after, hugged him & said sorry about that. Of course that is not shown.
A relationship between a coach & his players is something most of us cannot understand.
They are good & yet my timeline is filled with posts trying to cancel Travis Kelce for this moment. And to me, that’s the most toxic thing in our world these days- cancel culture is out of control. You can’t make one mistake without getting it taken to the next level.
I think most of us can agree that we are thankful our whole life isnt documented for the world to cancel us.
Quit trying to find the dirt on everyone. Go be the one to find the gold.”

  1. I’m old school. If you put your hands on me, you’re going to have a problem. I don’t excuse it. No exceptions. Trade off would happen. But that’s me, and my opinion don’t mean a hill of beans. So any haters that don’t like my opinion can kindly fluff off.

  2. Travis has let the celebrity status go to his head. Young kids look up to Travis, so therefore, some kind of penalty should enforced.

  3. Embarrassing situation ……shame on Travis….how dare he shove this older man ,his coach,no true respect for this wonderful man….Travis, you definitely have anger problems…we all watching here in NY were in shock over your despicable behavior….i hope you apologized….you should be fined ….football is a team sport……….not a good example to your fans especially the young ones….Taylor beware of his tantrums and short fuses!a Big Red Flag my dear……….!

  4. All I saw was him bumping into him. There was no shove! Everybody wants to overreact and cancel everybody when they weren’t there and didn’t see the entire interaction. Let Travis Kelce and Andy Reid be!
