Reasons Why Fans Support Maria Georgas On ‘The Bachelor’
Drama is heating up on The Bachelor and Maria Georgas and Sydney Gordon are not getting along. The drama is getting out of hand and some fans have taken sides. Most seem to be siding with Maria and here’s why. Keep reading to find out more.
Reasons fans are supporting Maria Georgas
Bachelor Joey Graziadei is dealing with some drama early on in his season. Maria Georgas and Sydney Gordon are not getting along. It all started over a comment regarding Madina and her age. Madina was insecure that she was the oldest person there.
Sydney ended up going to Joey and telling him that Maria “verbally attacked her” and called her “embarrassing, weird and dumb.” Maria denies this happened except for calling her weird. Joey admitted he felt like Maria was telling the truth more but he still kept them both at the last rose ceremony.
Social media has been talking a lot about the situation. Overall, Maria has been getting a lot of support from Bachelor fans. She has several ladies in the house supporting her as well.
Edwina and Allison are two of the ladies who have Maria’s back. Edwina said, “To understand Maria, you just have to know she’s always going to come straightforward to you.” She also went to social media and answered a fan who asked if the Sydney thing is being portrayed the way it was or if something wasn’t being shared on television.
Edwina replied, “lol looks pretty accurate to me.”
Maria’s numbers are soaring
The support Maria Georgas is receiving is also in her social media numbers. BachelorData on Instagram shared that Maria is the only contestant other than Daisy Kent to gain more followers in a 24-hour period. Since February 5, Maria gained more than 11,862 followers.
The page said, “Big news out of Instagram follower counts tonight! So far, Daisy’s Instagram gains have been untouchable since the premiere – even by Joey!”
The following day Maria was still beating Daisy in gaining followers. It seems the majority of fans are siding with Maria. However, there has been some including Ashley Iaconetti who have come to Sydney’s defense.

Fans will get to see Maria and Sydney on a two-on-one date where Joey will decide which one stays and which one goes. Who will he believe?

Maria is so mouthy and needs to go home.
So far, Sydney does not seem very trustworthy nor has she any sense of humor…. Maria is very genuine and direct, very fun.
I think Maria is a young, beautiful, mature young lady . I think there may be some jealousy there . Sydney I feel is immature and insecure. I’m hoping on the double date Joey sends Sydney home .
