‘Bringing Up Bates’ Josie Bates Worries Fans Ahead Of Labor
Bringing Up Bates star Josie Bates is making many people worried about her recent update. The pregnant mother is expected to give birth in March of this year, which is only a few days away. But the 24-year-old suffered an illness ahead of her labor. Keep reading to see what happened to Josie.
Bringing Up Bates: What Is The Gender Of Josie Bates’ Third Child?
Josie has yet to share the gender of her upcoming third child. However, some think that the Bringing Up Bates star accidentally revealed it during an IG Stories post last December. During the clip, she talked about passing her glucose test. But what caught the attention of many was Kelton speaking in the background, saying, “It’s going to be a big boy.” Josie’s third child will be Gil and Kelly Jo’s 28th grandchild. The proud grandparents will also welcome their 29th grandkid with Tori and Bobby this year.
Josie Worries Fans In Latest Post
Despite all the excitement about her upcoming baby, some Bringing Up Bates fans on Reddit couldn’t help but worry for Josie. Recently, the pregnant mom revealed that she’s experiencing severe flu. She also added that she hadn’t left her bed for almost a week. Her doctor revealed that her pregnancy played a significant role in why she’s taking a while to recover, which could be bad news as she’s already due in a few weeks. Here are some of the comments she received.
- “I feel for Josie. I’m due a few weeks after her with baby 4, and being super sick and pregnant is like hell on earth. Especially, when you have other children to take care of.”
- “Being 9 months pregnant with the flu sounds like the most miserable thing ever.”
- “Poor girl. That is so rough. I do wonder if it’s covid, and not the flu as well.. there are some nasty viruses going around. There is nothing quite like covid exhaustion.”
Bringing Up Bates: Josie Bates Says She’s Getting Induced
Aside from her flu, Josie also shared an update about her pregnancy. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, she’s getting induced in a couple of weeks. It’s a method doctors use to bring on labor before a woman goes into labor on her own. Some Redditors from the same thread pointed out that some of Josie’s sisters, who had clotting disorders, had their babies a few weeks early, which could mean that she also suffers from the same condition.
- “I think Josie has the same clotting disorder as her sisters and they all have their babies a few weeks early.”
- “Doesn’t Josie also have something similiar to RH incompatiblity too?”
- “They actually have! I remember both Erin and Josie talking about how grateful they are because they found out what caused their miscarriage(s) and could control it with injections. The bar is in hell but at least there’s that lol”
It’s unclear where or how Josie Bates got the flu. However, the 10th Bates child did a marriage retreat with her husband, Kelton, earlier this year and has also been embracing the snowy weather in East Tennessee.
