Alyssa Milano Sets Internet On Fire Begging For Money
Charmed and Who’s the Boss star Alyssa Milano is getting some attention in the media. Unfortunately, it’s not the best attention. She is getting a lot of heat from irate fans and followers after seeing her asking for money. What is going on and what is everyone saying? Keep reading to find out more.
Alyssa Milano has the internet fired up after asking for money
Actress Alyssa Milano has a lot of people fired up after asking for money on social media. She went to X or formerly Twitter and shared a link for a GoFundMe. However, the fundraiser was not just for someone random or a charitable event. She is using her platform to raise money for her son’s travel baseball team.
Alyssa shared a team photo and said, “My son’s baseball team is raising money for their Cooperstown trip. Any amount would be so greatly appreciated. You can read more about the team and make a donation here:”
She linked the GoFundMe which was created by her with her husband as the beneficiary of the funds. He is obviously one of their coaches. The fundraiser was hoping to raise $10,000 to support the young men traveling to Cooperstown to play baseball. However, while for anyone else this would seem pretty harmless to share a fundraiser in support of their children’s activities, fans are not happy Alyssa has done it.
The obvious reason is that Alyssa and her husband have a very high net worth. According to many sources online, Alyssa has a net worth of around $10 million. This does not include her husband’s very successful career.
Fan reaction is not good
There are some who did go and donate to the fundraiser. In fact, at the time of this writing, almost $8,500 has been raised.
One fan wrote on X, “I’m trying not to be salty but Alyssa Milano asking for donations for her son’s baseball team while I’m trying to refill all my life-saving meds before the end of this month due to tech layoffs is sending me.”
Someone else said, “Alyssa Milano has absolutely lost her mind. How out-of-touch and tone deaf can one person possibly be?”
Still, another X user said if only they knew someone with money.

The comments all continued to bash the actress and her wealthy husband for being so insensitive and using their status to get donations. One follower even noted that their child is also going to Cooperstown and they would like donations so they can go and beat Alyssa’s son’s team.
She responded to the backlash by posting on X again. Her response is below.
I’m getting media inquiries about whether I have financially contributed to my son’s baseball team.
I’ve paid for uniforms for the entire team and coaches, thrown bday parties and sponsor any kid who can’t afford monthly dues.
The kids also do fundraising themselves—car washes,…

She continues to get hate on her newest post. Most are outraged that she would ask her fans to donate.
Rich people asking poors to donate.
Embarrassing.
Have some respect. Horrible look.
