Vicki Gunvalson DONE With ‘RHOC’ & Here’s Why
Vicki Gunvalson is officially done with RHOC after popping up in Season 17 but what is the reason for this? It looked like she had a good chance of returning for the upcoming season. Now, that is apparently off the table. Read on for more details on the situation.
Vicki Gunvalson DONE With RHOC & Here’s Why
After being demoted to “friend of” a few seasons back, Vicki Gunvalson was finally done with the RHOC. She was the OG of the OC and the last remaining original cast member of the long-running series. However, she did return for the RHUGT2 along with her good pal and former co-star, Tamra Judge. Tamra had also lost her orange but gained it back for Season 17. Fortunately for fans, Gunvalson came with her for a few pop-in visits and she seemed to get a really good reception. It looked like things were looking up for the mother of two in regards to Season 18 and some sort of contract.
Now, Vicki is done with the show completely but what sparked that out of the blue? According to Dexerto, there are some contractual issues she is dealing with. More so, she is really confused by what Bravo is doing, as they are seemingly keeping her in limbo. She was hopeful that she would be coming back not as a “friend of” again but finally be a full-time fixture. After all, Vicki was given the Wifetime Achievement Award at BravoCon, even handing Andy Cohen an orange as a sign she was ready to return.
When speaking about her contract, Vicki Gunvalson told Page Six this:
“I don’t understand what they’re doing. I went on as good faith thinking I would show the network that I love them, I love filming, my value. But if I go back [as a ‘friend’], it looks thirsty.”
Despite not coming back, she did note that she had a great time during her many seasons on the show. Plus, she did two RHUGT, including the second and the original fourth which is now the fifth.

Another issue Vicki Gunvalson has been having is the idea that Alexis Bellino would be coming back. They have always been friends but now, Bellino is dating John Janssen. He is the ex-boyfriend of Shannon Beador who is a close friend of Vicki’s. She thinks that is so awful and wrong so she stands by her good friend in this moment. However, Tamra Judge, who has an on-and-off closeness with Beador, is currently on the outs with Shannon. Therefore, she appears to be okay with what is transpiring between John and Alexis.
