‘RHOC’ Vicki Gunvalson Contract Still Possibility For S18?
Is Vicki Gunvalson still a contender for Season 18 of the RHOC? After all, she is the OG of the OC. She did return briefly last season for her bestie, Tamra Judge’s first one back. Yet, will she be welcomed back for another year? Read on for more details.
RHOC Vicki Gunvalson Contract Still Possibility For S18?
Vicki Gunvalson exited RHOC when she was knocked down from full-time to “friend of.” She did try this for one year but then it was not for her so she left. After all, Vicki started the show and, in many ways, she was the face of the OC. After a stint on RHUGT2, Tamra Judge, who had also been let go from the RHOC, was asked back to the long-running Bravo reality series. She made her debut in Season 17 after leaving a few seasons prior. With Tamra came Vicki for a few guest stints and the reception was great.
Tamra expressed her desire to make Vicki a full-time housewife again plus she received the Wifetime Achievement Award at BravoCon. So, will she be joining the housewives once again? Contracts have clearly started to go out as Taylor Armstrong shared she would not be returning. She crossed over from Beverly Hills to the OC as a “friend of” but was not invited back. So what did that mean for Vicki? According to Radar Online, she could still have some sort of position when the show comes back, whenever that is.
An insider shared that Vicki Gunvalson is yet to actually get a contract but her name is floating. It is not just Vicki who is waiting to hear her fate. Best friends Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter are also in the same boat. Shannon Beador, however, was allegedly a shoo-in after her DUI arrest as cameras wanted to follow the story as it unraveled. There has also been a lot of chatter about another former cast mate returning who is connected to both Gunvalson and now Beador.
Alexis Returns?
When Alex Bellino left after Season 8 of RHOC, she was not on the best terms with everyone. Luckily, she had formed a bond with Vicki Gunvalson prior. Now, there is chatter that she may return to the show for Season 18 and Shannon Beador would not be happy. She was spotted out with Shannon’s ex, John Janssen and the two even took a photo together. This sparked dating rumors which were apparently false but Shannon does not want to film with Alexis. However, Bellino was just at Kathy Hilton’s holiday party, posing with Heather Dubrow of the OC. So, this could be a very interesting season.
