‘Below Deck’ Gary King Calls BS On Firing
Below Deck fans were sad and shocked when Gary King was fired after allegedly sexually assaulting a member of the production staff for the Bravo show. So far, he said little in his defense. However, after the news emerged that he’d been dropped from BravoCon 2023, he shared a message about it on social media.
Below Deck Star Gary King Dropped From BravoCon 2023
The accused seagoing alum isn’t the only person that Bravo fans won’t be seeing at BravoCon 2023. Apart from him, Ramona Singer from Real Housewives ended up dumped for racist remarks on social media. Possibly, the dismissed Bravo alum feels hurt by the rejection. Perhaps Gary feels the same way. Maybe, he hoped to clear his name during the big event.
Below Deck fans who hoped for a dramatic confrontation between Gary King and Kenya Moore won’t see it. Remember, he said on WWHL that he cozied up to an unnamed assistant of Kenya, she threw a fit. At the time, she claimed she would be “coming for him” at BravoCon 2023. Well, that’s not going to happen as right now, Gary’s in South Africa. And, it seems that not all fans of Bravo feel disappointed that he’s been excluded.
Just realised that Gary King has been removed from the line up for #Bravocon. The correct move imo. #Belowdeckmed #rhony #belowdeckdownunder #RHONJ #RHOSLC #RHOBH #wwhl pic.twitter.com/xKAAy4Bx2S

Below Deck Alum Gary King Calls BS On Being Fired
On November 2, Gary King posted a beautiful photo on his Instagram. There he lay, surrounded by the stunning Namaqualand daisies that paint the west coast of South Africa with color each spring. Actually, there’s much more to the Western Cape than just Cape Town. So, the meadow of wildflowers seemed a good place for him to think about what happened on the Bravo show.
Notably, the Below Deck alum didn’t say much in his caption about his firing. He wrote:
It’s sad that people will do anything in their power to bring you down. It’s not about how you fall but how you get up. Luckily for me the fall was into a sea of daisies 🌼.”
However, his hashtags added a loud and clear message about reality TV.
Disgust In Hashtags
Using a long list of hashtags, the Below Deck alum slammed a lot of things. One of them seemed very direct: “#iwascancelledbecauseofalie.” However, others also seemed easy to understand, like, “#anythingforaplatform,” and “#dontbelieveeverythingyousee.” Meanwhile, “#bullshitmedia” sends a clear message, as does, “#ivegotmyheadheldhigh.”
Cleverly using the flowers in the photo to describe his feelings, he added, “#wakeupandsmelltheroses.” Furthermore, he claimed, “#iwouldneverdothat.” Nonetheless, despite the world being “an ugly place,” he’s sounding positive with,”#onwardsandupwards.”
What are your thoughts about those words in the hashtags? Do you believe Gary King when he says that he would never sexually assault anyone? What about his claim that he was knifed in the back for a platform? Are you glad that he’s determined to hold his head up high?
