‘Golden Bachelor’ Who Is Finalist Theresa Nist?
The first season of The Golden Bachelor is already coming to an end. With hometowns right around the corner, it seems that the star, Gerry Turner, has really started to hone in on his final ladies. The Golden Bachelor: Theresa Nist
Gerry Turner has been on his journey to find love for weeks now as the first Golden Bachelor. However, it seems he’s finally reaching the finish line. Hometowns are next and it seems that on one date, he’s going to make a great first impression. So, who is this leading lady? It seems Theresa Nist has a good shot at stealing Gerry’s heart.
According to Us Weekly, Theresa works in finance and is 70 years old. Prior to this, she was married to someone else for 42 years. However, he passed away in 2014. Apparently, his kidneys were not good. She confided in Gerry during one of their dates, explaining the tragic story.
“One day when I was at work, he all of a sudden took a turn for the worse, and I ran home and I watched him take his last breath,” she says. “Neither one of us thought this was going to happen. We thought we were gonna live with our spouses for the rest of our lives.“
Theresa shares two children with her late husband. They have one daughter and one son named Jen and Tommy. It seems that in this upcoming episode, Gerry will get the chance to meet not only these two children, but also Theresa’s grandchildren. Each of Theresa’s children has three sons. According to the teaser, it seems this meeting will go well as one of her grandsons even suggests Gerry join the family.
“I think that you should be the new Paw Paw,” Theresa’s grandson declares.
Lots of family support
It seems that the grandkids aren’t the only ones rooting for Theresa to find love. Even her daughter, Jen, shared a sweet post in support of her mom prior to the show airing.
“BE YOURSELF. How awesome that so many people in the world are going to get to ‘know’ you! You are one of a kind and have so much goodness to share. Don’t be anything other than exactly you,” she writes. “Have fun. Laugh. I hope I get to hear a real Theresa laugh on the show! … You are wonderful. You’ve got this. Kiss him if it feels right. How great would it be to be in a really healthy relationship with a man!”
So, overall, it seems that if Gerry and Theresa do end up together at the end of this, she already has her whole family on board. Only time will tell who ends up getting engaged!

I hope it is not Theresa. There is something about her I just don’t like. She seems to be this sweet little girl but she has been involved with that incident with Kathy. I can’t just blame one. I hope it is Faith. We will see.
Why blame both parties? It’s easy for one person to be jealous and bully another.
I am not a Theresa fan. I did not like her from the beginning. It’s going to be a hard choice between Faith and Leslie though. Can’t wait for the next episode!
