Leslie Fhima Almost Left ‘Golden Bachelor’ Filming Early, Why?
Leslie Fhima made a lasting impression when she stepped out of the limo to meet Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner. She and Gerry hit it off instantly and her outgoing personality certainly sparked his interest. Leslie is still in the running for Gerry’s heart. However, she admits early in filming she almost self-eliminated. Why? Keep reading to find out more.
Leslie Fhima almost left The Golden Bachelor
Leslie Fhima almost left The Golden Bachelor early in the season. E!News shared the scoop with fans. According to Leslie she was crazy about Gerry Turner so that was not the reason. She said, “I’m cuckoo crazy about him and we definitely have chemistry. I’m in it to win it.”
So, what did happen? She found her son was having some issues and needed her. She called him and she was ready to jump ship to leave and help him. This happened just days after Joan Vassos left to help her daughter who had just had a baby.
Leslie ultimately did not leave. Her son urged her to stay. He really wanted her to stay and get her happily ever after. After being divorced twice he felt she deserved it. She decided to stay and later that day had the date of a lifetime with Gerry.
However, should her son have asked her to leave, she would have. Leslie said, “With our age comes life. And just because your kids are bigger doesn’t mean they don’t have problems. So we’re a mother first and if my son had said, ‘I need you now,’ I would have left. Because that’s who I am.”
She had a great one-on-one with Gerry
After agreeing to stay, Leslie Fhima had a great one-on-one with Gerry Turner. They went riding ATVs and ended the date soaking in a hot tub in the middle of nowhere. This is when fans noticed Gerry’s sexy tattoo.
Leslie feels that date took their relationship to a whole new level. She’s like Gerry in a lot of ways. She loves adventures and to have fun.
Leslie also talked about how she and her daughter had discussed The Bachelor needed a more mature version of the show. Their conversation was close to five years ago and neither thought it would ever happen. Fast forward and Leslie is in the premiere season looking for love.

I think Leslie and Gerry have amazing chemistry and I hope he picks her and they are happy for the rest of their lives
