TLC’s Pregnant Liz Johnston, 21, Confirms Baby’s Last Name
Pregnant Liz Johnston, 21, of TLC’s 7 Little Johnstons is pregnant with her first child. As fans who follow this young reality TV star know, she has her own place where she lives with her long-time boyfriend, Brice Bolden.
Over the past couple of seasons of the show, there have been a lot of rumors and speculations that Brice and Liz were having trouble in their relationship. Likewise, there were even rumors they broke up completely. Some TLC fans believe Liz Johnston even added fuel to the rumors with certain things she posted on social media. Now, many fans suspected the split rumors were just a PR stunt to keep people interested in the series.
With all of these rumors swirling, 7 Little Johnstons’ fans were both shocked and not shocked that Liz Johnston and Brice Bolden were expecting a baby together. Fans weren’t shocked because they have been together for a long time, they are legally adults, and they live together. Fans, however, were shocked because they weren’t married or even engaged.
One big question looming with 7 Little Johnstons fans is simple. What will their child’s last name be? Turns out, Liz Johnston answered this question on Instagram recently.
TLC’s Pregnant Liz Johnston, 21, Confirms Baby’s Last Name
Traditionally, when a child comes into the world the child takes their father’s last name. This, however, is assuming there is a father in the picture. It, however, gets a bit more complicated when the mother and father are not married. Fans already know Liz plans to name the baby Leighton. Moreover, thanks to something her sister Anna posted about her “niece” fans are almost positive the baby is a girl.
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Liz recently spilled the beans on her due date. Turns out, she’s just two weeks away from giving birth to her and Brice’s baby. Liz shared this exciting news via her Instagram Stories. Doing the math, fans suspect her due date is during the first week of November.
There was, however, another tidbit of information Liz Johnston revealed when she posted this. She also confirmed what her plans for her unborn child’s last name are. Turns out, she intends to give her child Brice’s last name.
Attached to the photo, Liz Johnston referred to the baby as “Baby B.” Fans can only assume the “B” stood for Brice’s last name. So, this means the baby’s name will be Leighton Bolden. With this information in mind, fans wonder if Liz and Brice will be getting engaged and married in the near future.
