‘Golden Bachelor’ Fans Demand Answers About Missing Contestant
Golden Bachelor fans demand answers about why one popular contestant was seemingly missing from parts of the latest episode. Keep reading to find out who was missing and why.
Golden Bachelor Jumps On Pickleball Trend
Pickleball mania has been sweeping the nation, and not even The Golden Bachelor show is immune. The tennis-like sport has surged in popularity in recent years.
It’s also one of Gerry Turner’s favorite pastimes. In a GQ profile piece earlier this year, the first-ever Golden Bachelor shared that he plays three times a week.
Pickleball is similar to tennis but uses smaller racquets and smaller plastic balls on smaller courts.
To Gerry Turner’s delight, the group date on the latest episode involved a pickleball tournament. Trista Sutter, the first Bachelorette, made an appearance in the Bachelor mansion but assured the ladies she wasn’t there to steal their man.
“Stop looking for the woman you can live with and start looking for the woman that you just can’t live without.” What beautiful advice ✨ #TheGoldenBachelor pic.twitter.com/eoVuXFjUQ2

Instead, she presented the remaining women with the pickleball date card. Ahead of the episode, ABC posted teaser snapshots of the date on social media, and fans noticed a glaring problem: One of the contestants wasn’t in the photos. Why not?
Fans Notice Popular Contestant Missing, Demands Answers
While Trista Sutter vowed not to steal Gerry Turner, one viewer couldn’t help but note on the show’s social media that Sutter, 50, looked like she was one of the contestants. Is that a compliment to the other women for their youthful appearance or an insult to Trista Sutter?
Who knows. Fans had more pressing matters to address.
Eagle-eyed Bachelor Nation fans immediately noticed a contestant missing from the group shots of the pickleball date. “Leslie is not in the group shot,” one fan wrote in confusion.
Another asked, “Er…where is Leslie ?!?!”
Where Was She?
The former professional figure skater recently shared on her social media that she suffered a serious injury that would keep her sidelined for a while. Is her broken arm why she wasn’t on the group date?
No. The group date was filmed months ago, and her arm injury happened after filming.
Leslie Fhima wasn’t on the group date because she got the coveted one-on-one date with Gerry Turner. While the other women were competing against each other in pickleball and for Turner’s attention, Fhima had him all to herself on an adventurous ATV ride. The adventure turned romantic during a steamy hot tub excursion.
Needless to say, Leslie Fhima got a rose and is safe for another week. Will she be the last woman standing at the end? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
