‘AGT’ Fans Call Out Sofia Vergara Mistake In Magician’s Live Trick
One of the most impressive acts last night on America’s Got Talent was magician Anna Deguzman. She took the stage and pulled off an astonishing card trick that used the entire audience as her cohorts. However, one camera angle on the judge’s table showed that Sofia Vergara made a mistake that spoiled the trick.

Anna Deguzmancard trick on America’s Got Talent
Anna Deguzman came out and she had a card trick to show off to the judges and audience as she fought for her spot in the AGT finals. As the first-ever female magician to make the finals, she did a very impressive card trick. She gave cards to the judges and to Terry Crews. She also had her own cards. She had Terry look to prove all his cards were different.
She also had the judges look at their decks to prove that all their cards were different. She then had the judges take a card out of their decks, not look at it, and then seal it in their envelopes. She had Terry Crews take some random cards out of his deck and then compare them to her cards. Every card that Crews had randomly chosen was the same as the ones that Anna had chosen. However, Crews had one card that remained that he randomly chose.
That was the Queen of Hearts. Anna then said that everyone in the audience had an envelope they were given when they arrived. She asked them to open their envelopes. and everyone had a Queen of Hearts. She then asked the judges to open their envelopes where they put a random card. They all had the Queen of Hearts as well. However, there was one problem.
Sofia Vergara didn’t have the Queen of Hearts originally
Sofia Vergara was struggling mightily during the entire trick. She seemed awkward when getting her card into the envelope. She then struggled to tear her envelope open to get the card out. The television cameras then showed her with a black spade on it. She looked confused and pushed it back into the envelope, ignoring it.
This overshadowed her really impressive trick. The cards Terry chose – in order were 2, 6, 9, 2, 3 (the date 26/9/23) and then the last two were 10’s and Anna pointed out that it was 10:10 p.m. at that exact moment (which it was). The trick was amazing, and sadly, Sofia’s flub has soured the trick.
“Anyone else catch that Sophia did NOT have the Queen of Hearts?” one person asked on X (via The US Sun). Another wrote, “The prize is too big you can’t blow the trick and then just have everybody act like it didn’t happen.”
