‘MBFFL’ Whitney Way Thore Exploits Half-Sister Angie?

My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans are learning more about Angie, the half-sister of Whitney Way Thore. Several clues make critics suspect that the TLC star might be exploiting the family. Will they stay around once the TLC show comes to an end? Read on to find out why doubts arise.

MBFFL Fans Questions On Angie,  Whitney Way Thore’s Sister

Even before viewers of the show discovered that a secret half-sister existed, critics slammed Glenn and his daughter for exploiting Babs. Actually, many people were unhappy that the show featured her mom in a sickly state in Season 10. Additionally, they felt it was wrong to televise the funeral. Despite her claims that her dad made the decision to honor her mom, people still think that she makes money off her mom. That’s because they feel that she has run out of stories. Naturally, she denies that.

Now, some people think that Whitney Way Thore is exploiting her new-found extended family as well. Interestingly, they feel that Angie isn’t really buying into it. However, people noticed that Jaime Daughdrill, her daughter, seems really into the five minutes of fame on social media. Notably, it seems to be Jaime and her newfound aunt who push the one big happy family narrative, rather than Glenn and Angie.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans can’t help but notice that Hunter is fairly quiet about his new family. On social media, his dad, Glenn isn’t shouting it to the rooftops. Meanwhile, Angie (Angela Vincent Burdett), is not posting zillions of happy family moments about her long-lost father, either. So, some people on Reddit wonder if TLC will use Jaime as the face of the family. Meanwhile, others wonder if Jaime’s family will walk away from the Greensborough clan once the show comes to an end.

Whitney Way Thore posted up a reel of herself with the other aunties in the background while she joined her niece and other young relatives in the front. On Reddit, u/twoxsii opined, “This is so disturbing, Whit doesn’t care about her “new family.” She’ll do anything to save her dying show. Tlc/Whit we’re desperate after last season’s snore fest.” More followed, and it seemed like some interesting points were raised. The Redditor pointed out that it seems like only Jaime and Glenn’s daughter “are partying together and screaming I love you from the mountain top.” 

Will Exploited Family Dump Glenn’s Family?

The Redditor had other things to say about Whitney Way Thore:

I’m gonna need Glen and his daughter Angela to speak up about what’s really going on If TLC is going to force this storyline. Whitney you’re almost 40, time to get a real job, the Tlc checks aren’t gonna last forever. I hope all the “friends and family” you have on the payroll stick around when the rides over.”

In the comments section, a member of the community said, “So now Quitney is posting photos with her wedged into the group. I went through way too many photos on Angie and Jamie’s FB pages (all public) and saw these similar shots on their accounts, minus Quitney. Definitely makes it look fake AF to tack yourself onto an already established group.”

Here’s another follower who thinks that there might be some exploitation going on to keep the show going: “They are all using each other for fame and money. Big Whit is a true friend to no one. She needs more people to exploit. Has to keep the gravy train rolling.”
