With the new season premiere less than a week away, TLC is dropping previews and hinting to fans about what’s ahead. Kim Plath opens up about her new relationship, while Barry finds a new love for working out.
As expected, it’s going to be another intense season as the family is divided. One major storyline is the conflict between Moriah and Olivia. At one point, the sisters-in-law were very close and got along well. But that’s all changed, and fans are finally getting to find out why.
Why Is Moriah Plath DONE With Olivia?
On Thursday, People exclusively shared a new WTP Season 5 trailer. In it, Moriah finally shared more details about the truth about her relationship with Olivia. In the clip, Moriah and Micah sit down with their divorced parents, Kim and Barry, to discuss where they stand with Ethan and Olivia.
The four of them talk about Olivia disliking the way the Plath kids were raised. Barry claims that Olivia has “brainwashed” Ethan into siding with her rather than his parents.
Then, in a confessional, Moriah admits that her friendship with Olivia is not getting any better. She explained, “Olivia has said a bunch of things about my parents for years, and it’s only gotten worse. It’s gotten to the point where lies are being told. And I personally want to do my part in making things right.”
Also in the clip, Moriah Plath discusses the incident with the credit card. Olivia previously alleged that Kim used Ethan’s credit card and stole a lot of money from him. However, Moriah doesn’t believe this at all, stating that Olivia was telling “a made-up story to validate her big emotions.”
Ultimately, Moriah is done listening to Olivia’s “lies.”
