Several of her co-hosts have stepped up to the plate to fill in for her. First, she was out to attend a Taylor Swift concert. Not long after, she missed a day due to illness. She returned for a day but quickly disappeared again.
Amid her long absence, her co-hosts have not offered too much insight into whatever is pulling her away. Fans recently learned that Savannah is on vacation, but that was the extent of the details shared publicly.

On Instagram this week, Savannah Guthrie finally explained the reasoning behind her absence from the talk show. She and her family were attending the US Open. She posted a nice family picture of herself with her nine-year-old daughter, Vale, her six-year-old son, Charley, and her husband, Michael Feldman. Then, she shared a snap of the kids standing side by side. Charley took up the remaining slides in the post, showing off his silly faces and sunglasses.
In her caption, the Today host said, “Beautiful first night at US Open! Thank you team.”

In the comments section, fans expressed their thoughts. Many were relieved to finally get an update and see that Savannah and her family are doing well. Some are eager to see her back on Today.
