Jade Roper Tolbert gives update after trip to emergency room
Jade Roper Tolbert had her faithful fans worried on Saturday as she shared that she was at the emergency room. She said she woke up feeling bad and went to get checked out. She has been suffering from a missed miscarriage meaning her baby has stopped growing and has no heartbeat.
However, rather than having medical staff intervene and help her body release the pregnancy. Jade is wanting to let her body let the pregnancy go naturally. So far it hasn’t happened and the pregnancy has been lost for some time. She shared the news on August 13 and she had been enduring it before that announcement.
Yesterday physicians feared she could be getting an infection. After spending time in the ER yesterday completing blood work and an ultrasound, Jade shared with fans later in the evening that there is no infection. Her lab work all came back normal. However, there is one reason her body won’t release the pregnancy.
She continued explaining, “My body is still producing hCG (it essentially still thinks it’s growing a baby). Those levels have to go down for the body to miscarry. By now, for how long it’s been since the baby stopped growing, my body shouldn’t be doing this. It’s like it’s in denial.”
Following being discharged to go back home, Jade and Tanner went on a stroll and stopped for some ice cream. They both needed time to decompress after her ER scare.
She asked fans for grace
Jade Roper Tolbert asked fans to please respect her decision to allow her body to go through this process naturally. She is trusting that it will happen and in the meantime, she is carrying her son with pride. Jade knows his soul is soaring while she continues to carry him. She called him Baby Beau.
Jade and Tanner had decided earlier this year that their family wasn’t quite complete and decided to try for baby number four.
Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned and Jade and Tanner are now struggling through this tremendous loss.

I feel for her what a terrible loss. As a medical professional I don’t understand why people think that they know better than the experts. Her body is obviously not “releasing the baby”. She is putting herself at risk by waiting to go through this naturally.
