‘Today’ Colleagues Laugh As Dylan Dreyer Relives Nasty Fall

Dylan Dreyer takes a nasty spill.
As we reported, Al Roker shared footage of one of his Today co-hosts taking a nasty fall on the show. It turns out that it was Dylan. She was rehearsing a trick with Elsa the dog. The dog was supposed to jump into her arms, but instead, Dylan fell backward onto the ground.
Despite taking a fall, Dylan kept a positive attitude and laughed it off. When Al shared the video on Instagram, he made sure to inform his followers that both Dylan and Elsa were totally fine.

Her Today colleagues got a good laugh out of this incident.
After this little incident, Dylan and her colleagues chatted about what had happened. She sat down with Al Roker and Sheinelle Jones to relive the moment, viewing the footage that was captured behind the scenes. They all chuckled at the video, letting loose after they knew that their colleague was okay.
After rewatching the clip, Dylan complained that none of her colleagues helped her off the floor. If you watch Al’s video, you can see several people standing nearby but not doing anything. She said six people disregarded her after she fell, but finally, Yosef helped her out.
Sheinelle teased, “In Yosef’s defense, it was a quiet fall.” Al also said he was trying to stand up for Yosef, but ultimately Dylan seemed to be putting the blame on him. She’s not sure how he didn’t notice more quickly when she took a tumble.
Reflecting on her spill on Today, Dylan said that her fall was pretty “graceful,” all things considered. She also breathed a sigh of relief that she wore a long dress that day instead of a short one. It definitely could have been much worse.
Hopefully, the Today crew can make it through the rest of the week without any more falls, hiccups, or injuries. If anything does happen, however, fans will likely hear all about it.
