‘MBFFL’ Star Glenn Thore Involved In Fatal Accident?
My Big Fat Fabulous Life Season 11 reveals things about Whitney’s dad, Glenn Thore, that people didn’t know about and now it’s thought that he was involved in a fatal accident, might the show mention it? Why do people think that the TLC star was involved? Well, there are a number of clues, so read on to find out.
Glenn Thore Has A Past That Catches Up With Him
Ahead of the teasers for the new season of MBFFL, social media rumors started that Whitney Way Thore might have a secret brother. Anyway, once the trailer arrived, TLC fans discovered that there was, in fact, a secret sister. In the show, fans will meet a half-sister named Angie. If you don’t know, her dad served in the military and this daughter happened out of wedlock. Rumors suggest that Babs knew about her and banned her husband from any contact.
Glenn Thore obviously had some contact with his daughter, and perhaps the death of Babs, while very sad, made it possible for them to get to know each other. Naturally, fans were interested to discover that at one stage of his life, Whitney’s dad was in the military and stationed in Asia. This was all a long time ago and probably happened before he even married Babs. This month, Whitney told her fans that her mom and dad would have celebrated 46 years of married life together if Babs was still alive. New news revealed that her dad was possibly in Asia about eight years before they tied the knot.
A Man Named Glenn Thore Was In An Accident
Sometimes, people on social media turn out to be real sleuths. Possibly because of the half-sister, someone dug around into the life of Whitney’s dad back in the 1960s. Something revealed in the Stars & Stripes in 1969 made its way to Reddit and was shared by u/ghostonthehorizon. The old cutting revealed, “A 43-year-old Japanese man was killed early Wednesday when a car driven by a U.S. serviceman struck him in Yokohama.”
In the story, people could see that serviceman was named Glenn W. Thore and “was assigned to a marine support battalion at the Kamiseya Naval Security Group Activity.” As is usual with the military, he was handed over to his unit and the investigation was conducted thereafter. It’s not known what the outcome was. Interestingly, Whitney’s dad was in the military and stationed in Asia. Therefore, it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that it was the MBFFL support character involved in the tragic accident.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life Fans Comment
In the comments, it seemed that a lot of people felt for the young man that was involved in the death of another human being. It can’t have been easy for him knowing that a family was left grieving. A member of the community wrote, “Whoa! That’s some super-sleuthing right there, OP. Clearly, Glenn was cleared of any wrongdoing. And it’s not possible that there’s another Glenn W. Thore who served in the Marines, stationed in Japan, that year. It must have been a terrible experience all around.”
Are you sad that it seems like there was a tragic fatal accident involving Glenn Thore in 1969? Do you agree that it must have been terrible for him as well as the victim’s family? Let us know in the comments below.
