‘Big Brother 25’ Mystery 17th Houseguest Revealed

The long-awaited 25th season of Big Brother finally premiered tonight. Of course, Julie Chen Moonves always reminds fans to ‘expect the unexpected’ and tonight, the houseguests got to experience that firsthand. The exciting season kicked off with one major twist – a 17th houseguest. So, who is this new person? Keep reading to find out all the juicy details from tonight’s episode.

Big Brother 25 houseguest finally revealed

Earlier this week, Big Brother finally revealed the 16 houseguests that will be spending the next 100 days in the BB house. While each seems to have an entertaining back story, one houseguest has everyone shocked. Of course, this excitement started earlier today when Big Brother revealed the fact that just because there are 16 houseguests announced, doesn’t mean there aren’t more.

So, who is this mysterious new person entering the house? None other than Survivor legend, Cirie Fields. Cirie was not only on Survivor, but she also starred on The Traitors on Peackcock where she took home the crown.

However, that’s not her only tie to reality TV. In fact, her son is actually in the house with her too and, unfortunately up for nomination this week already.

On the block night one?

It seems unusual for there to already be someone on the block, however, this season, the Big Brother theme is the multi-verse. This means there are four different universes within the BB house. These universes include the Scaryverse, Comicverse, Humiliverse, and the Scrambleverse. At any point in the game, these universes can unleash a twist, and tonight, the Scrambleverse did exactly that.

Instead of playing a competition to win the coveted Head of Household tonight, the players instead played for safety. Groups of four participated in four different competitions. The losers of these comps were then nominated for eviction – despite the fact that there is no HOH in place and won’t be until Sunday.

As of now, Kirsten, Corey, Felicia, and Cerie’s son, Jared are up on the block. Not only that, but the game Corey played actually stole him into a void, leaving houseguests and viewers wondering what exactly happened to him and when he will be back.

Excited for the new houseguest?

Despite all the drama of the night, fans were overjoyed to see Cirie in the house. Of course, Cirie has a huge following, especially on CBS, after her time on Survivor. However, earlier in the summer, it was made clear that some were really hoping to see Big Brother legend Dan Gheesling return to the house. It seems fans shouldn’t worry yet though, Julie Chen Moonves has made it clear that this season will be full of twists and turns.
