Janelle Pierzina is breaking her silence on the Big Brother 25 cast. While everyone anxiously awaits the start of the already delayed show, Janelle is giving fans a bit of insight into who will be in the cast in the major reality TV show. Turns out, it may not be everything everyone had hoped.

Big Brother 25 cast details

Summer has started which normally means Big Brother is coming, however, this year the show has been substantially delayed, leaving fans to wonder who the cast will consist of this season. After all, the cast and their strategies can make or break a season. Apparently, Janelle Pierzina, who was a star on the sixth, seventh, fourteenth, and twenty-second seasons of the hit reality show got a glimpse at the cast list for Season 25, which is set to air on Wednesday, August 2.

In a tweet, Janelle reveals that she got a glimpse at three different cast members. Unfortunately, it seems they all have pretty large followings on Instagram. This means the show is taking a turn towards more influencers and less normal, more relatable, people.

“Just saw three rumored houseguests for #bb25 and they look pretty corny and boring. They also have large followings on IG. One has over a million followers,” she writes in a tweet to fans.

Less than impressed by the show

Needless to say, most are less than excited about a cast full of influencers. Many took to the replies on the tweet to let Janelle know their thoughts. Several claim the show has gone ‘downhill’ and ‘is going to crap.’

“It’s been in steady decline with who they put in the house,” one person responds to the tweet.

Others don’t even watch the show anymore in anticipation of bad casting decisions.

“Haven’t watched the show since the last All Stars. It’s gone completely to crap.”

And of course, some just want the old Big Brother back with ‘relatable’ people.

“boooo we want real fans with normal followings/lives! Makes the game more relatable and not so “staged”,” one writes.

“What happened to the Big Brother cast being a social experiment with everyday people?? I hate feeling like I don’t have enough social media followers to even audition for the show!” another agrees.

Overall, it will be interesting to see if the Big Brother ratings drop this season. Between delaying the start of the show by months and seemingly casting more and more influencers every year, it seems they might lose the large audience they once had. Only time will tell!
