Is 1000-Lb. Best Friends coming back for a third season? That’s what many TLC viewers are asking these days.

Vannessa Cross gives clues about the future of 1000-Lb. Best Friends
1000-Lb. Best Friends fans are continuously impressed with Vannessa Cross’ success. The TLC star has proved that she will work hard and go above and beyond to achieve her goals.
In one recent Instagram update, she uploaded a video of herself on the treadmill. Many followers complimented her dedication and work ethic. But a few others had questions about Season 3.
“Does this mean the show is coming back? I hope so, you look amazing,” one Instagram follower wrote in the comments.
“No word yet, but fingers crossed,” Vannessa replied.
Of course, Vannessa’s reply really could mean anything. Last year, all the cast members feigned ignorance whenever fans asked them about the show’s future. 1000-Lb. Best Friends Season 2 did eventually come to TLC, which meant that the cast members were actually filming the entire time.
TLC does prefer to keep filming quiet until a new season is ready to premiere. More than likely, Vannessa and the rest of her gal pals have been quietly filming this summer.
Interested fans can keep an eye on their Instagram pages for future updates about the new season. As the 2023 fall TV season draws closer, there will likely be more updates arriving shortly.
What would a third season possibly look like?
Without a doubt, Vannessa Cross has quickly become the fan favorite among 1000-Lb. Best Friends audience members. If a third season ever comes to TLC, the season will likely follow her progress as she works toward skin removal surgery.
She didn’t quite get there in Season 2, but fans are confident that she’s incredibly close to her goal. Her recent treadmill video grabbed everyone’s attention and showed them just how hard she was working.
Season 3 will also likely provide updates on the other costars, Meghan Crumpler, Ashely Sutton, and Tina Arnold.
In Season 2, the other women kept working on their goals and Ashely even qualified for a second bariatric surgery. Tina was also supposed to get the procedure done as well but backed out at the last second.
A third season would give the other women a chance to show off their hard work. Time will tell if TLC renews the show or puts it up on the chopping block.
