The Duggar family keeps pretty quiet these days.
If you follow Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar on social media, you may have noticed they rarely post anything anymore. They are laying low, likely due to their son Josh Duggar’s crimes. Plus, the recent docuseries, Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets, exposed some of their harmful religious beliefs and didn’t paint them in a positive light.
Fans are always on the lookout for new posts about the Duggars or photos and videos of their 19 kids. Fortunately, fans got a positive update about two of the kids recently. What’s going on with 19-year-old Jackson and 17-year-old Johannah?
Jackson & Johannah Duggar reach a huge milestone!
On the Duggar family’s blog back in May, a new post went up announcing a special milestone for Jackson and Johannah. Both Jackson and Johannah graduated from high school this spring after another year of homeschooling.
In the new blog post, Michelle and Jim Bob wrote, “We pray that God would enable Jackson and Johannah to use the unique talents and personalities God has given them wisely and in service to others, that they would discern what is right, good and just, and live their lives in pursuit of the dreams God has placed in their hearts.”
They referred to Jackson and Johannah as a “dynamic duo,” which is why they wanted to graduate together. The Duggar family vaguely mentioned “the next phase of their lives,” but they didn’t spill what that includes.

On Instagram, a fan page shared this news as well, and many commenters wanted to know what lies ahead for these two. No one knows for sure where they’re headed, unfortunately. Some predict Jackson will follow in his brothers’ footsteps and work in construction. Others feel that Johannah will soon be married and become a mother as her sisters did at a young age.
