Bates Family Included In Series
In December 2021, Variety confirmed the series was in the works. At the time, the outlet noted:
“The filmmakers’ investigation into the Institute in Basic Life Principles and the Duggars will also focus on two other large reality TV families: the Plaths, of TLC’s Welcome to Plathville, and the Bates, of UpTV’s Bringing Up Bates.”
In this second snap, Michael Bates Keilen is carrying a couple of her younger siblings.
Fans are eager to see just how much the Bates will be a part of the series. It does seem to be primarily about the Duggar family. But from the trailer and initial details, it sounds like the Bates will make an appearance somewhere.
